Oxford are set to bring the biggest travelling league support to Brunton Park this season - for a game which could see the visitors promoted.
The Kassam Stadium club have already sold out their allocation of 1,000 terracing tickets for the Waterworks End.
They have also sold more than 500 of 1,465 seating tickets for the Pioneer Stand.
It means Michael Appleton's side will be backed by the biggest travelling attendance at Carlisle's ground in League Two this term, ahead of the 935 brought by Portsmouth last November.
The only travelling support bigger this campaign was the 3,826 Everton fans who attended February's FA Cup fourth round tie.
Oxford, who will include the League Two player of the year Kemar Roofe, could be promoted if they beat Keith Curle's 10th-placed team and fourth-placed Bristol Rovers slip up at York.
The Us' chairman Darryl Eales has paid for more than 1,000 hot-dogs and drinks for travelling fans at the Magpie pub, Botcherby, on the day of the game.
While this Saturday's game is the penultimate encounter of the 2015/16 season - and Brunton Park's final game of the campaign - the date when next season's fixtures will be announced has been confirmed.
Blues fans will be able to plan their 2016/17 campaign from Wednesday, June 22.
Next season will also be the first under the Football League's 'EFL' branding, which features a new logo described as "a dynamic circular arrangement of 72 balls."
