FIVE people have been injured after a minibus and car crashed.
The incident happened today near to the Rockcliffe Estate, of the Kingmoor Road, Carlisle.
Three fire engines and ambulance staff attended.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: "At 2.51pm 2020, three Fire Engines were called to reports of a road traffic collision near to Rockcliffe Estate off Kingmoor Road, Carlisle.
"On arrival crews discovered a road traffic collision involving one car and one minibus.
"Five casualties were treated at scene by fire service personnel and ambulance personnel.
"Crews used a first aid kit and oxygen to treat the casualties with three casualties being conveyed to hospital by ambulance."
Fire crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
