A vehicle fire – that was spreading – was tackled by one fire crew.
At about 5.10pm yesterday (November 28), a team from Carlisle East Fire Station was called to a vehicle fire at Ivegill.
Upon arrival, the crew found the car was well alight, and the flames were spreading to a nearby hedge.
They quickly extinguished the flames using a hosereel, and wore breathing apparatus.
A high-visibility barrier tape was also used by the crew to make the scene safe.
