Two fire crews were called out to a vehicle fire.
Fire engines from Carlisle East and Penrith were called out at 10.10pm on February 8, to reports of a HGV on fire.
The vehicle was at Southwaite Services on the northbound carriageway of the M6.
When they arrived, crews discovered the tyres of a HGV alight, and extinguished the fire using one set of breathing apparatus, one hosereel, and a dry powder extinguisher.
On February 9 Carlisle East attended two fires in the open in the station area, and were also called to a carbon monoxide incident, which fortunately was a false alarm.
