Firefighters battle car blaze which spread to neighbouring hedgrow
Fire crews were sent out to a car fire which spread to some plants.
This morning (June 18) at approximately 9:45 am, crews from Carlisle East and Brampton fire stations were sent out to the fire which was close to Kirklinton.
Once there, the fire crews discovered that one car was well ablaze and had spread to a hedgerow.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers and two hosereels.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
