MEMBERS of Cumbria's Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene of a van on fire in Carlisle last night.
Two fire engines attended the scene on Riverside Way, at around 10 pm (March 23).
A spokesperson from CFRS said: "At 22:08 hours on 23rd of March 2023 two fire engines were called to reports of incident on Riverside Way, Carlisle.
"On arrival fire crews discovered a fire involving a van and used one hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a triple extension ladder to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty five minutes," they said.
