THE ten finalists in the News & Star's 'Best Cafe 2024' award have been revealed.
These finalists have been chosen by News & Star readers after a week of online nominations which started on Monday, April 8, and concluded on Friday, April 12.
The ten finalists who will all be in the running to be crowned News & Star Best Cafe 2024 are:
Adeline’s Tea Room, Corporation Road, Carlisle
Arches Coffee House, Fisher Street, Carlisle
Barton’s Yard Café Bar, Warwick Road, Carlisle
Crofton Hall Coffee Shop, The Old Stable Block, Thursby
I Love Café, St Cuthbert’s Lane, Carlisle
Laing’s of Harker, Old Harker Garden Centre, Carlisle
Posting Pot, Wetheral, Carlisle
The Barista, High Street, Wigton
The Bobbin Coffee Shop, Linton House, Carlisle
Whytes Café Bar, Carlyle’s Court, Carlisle
News & Star readers will now be able to vote for their favourite finalist by picking up a copy of the daily newspaper between Monday, April 22, and Friday, May 3.
In addition, we will be highlighting the shortlisted cafes in our competition in the News & Star. Each of the establishments will be featured over ten issues.
After this final voting stage has concluded the winner will crowned as the News & Star's 'Best Cafe 2024' during the week commencing Monday, May 13.
