Penrith Fire Station were called out to the M6 southbound yesterday afternoon after a van caught alight.
At around 3pm on Monday June 11, the fire and rescue service were called out to the M6 J41-42 southbound.
On arrival, the team found a van well alight. Two fire fighters quickly got to work with a hose reel jet stopping the fire from spreading into the rear storage area of the van.
Crews were on scene for just over an hour.
