Fire crew tackle car blazes in West Cumbria
Firefighters tackled three car blazes in Whitehaven last night.
The crew was called around 10pm after a fire in a car, parked on the road outside a house on Kinniside Avenue, Mirehouse, spread to two others on a driveway.
Firefighters spent around an hour at the scene and used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to put out the blaze.
A spokesman for Whitehaven fire service said it is not yet known how the blaze started and that police are looking into the cause.
