Incredible photos of what the Beast from the East brought to Cumbria are continuing to emerge.
Deb Huby, of Nenthead, near Alston, came around a 20ft snow drift near her home, which was also submerged by snow.
She said: "I’ve been in this area 20 years and I’ve seen bad drifting but not in the excess we have had. Six days we have been snowed in."
Deb's heating has been off for two days but fortunately volunteers were able to reach them with food parcels and they have also been loaned and electric heater.
Another house at Cumrew, near Castle Carrock, also caught the brunt of the weather and farmers in Bewcastle, near Brampton, were faced with snow so deep they struggled to reach their livestock.
