Three eggs have been laid by ospreys nesting in Cumbria.
The popular pair have been eagerly monitored by members of the Lake District Osprey Project (LDOP) at Bassenthwaite since their arrival.
Female osprey KL - who is ringed - laid three eggs in six days after mating with the unringed male.
It is believed it is the fourt year running that the pair have mated.
Footage from a nest camera confirmed the first egg was laid on April 12, with another following on April 15 and a third egg confirmed on April 17.
Jon Carter, of the LDOP, said: “We’re delighted that KL has laid three eggs again this year.”
