Firefighter have been dealing with a barn blaze at a north Cumbrian farm for most of the day.
Five crews were called out to Roundhill Farm, near Welton, at about 6.40am where a barn fire had spread to two neighbouring homes.
Three people escaped to safety.
But there was extensive damage to the domestic barn and significant fire and heat damage to the living area of their two houses.
Pumps from Carlisle West Fire Station, Longtown, Wigton, Aspatria and Penrith were at the scene.
The aerial ladder platform from Carlisle East was also deployed.
the operation was scaled back but a crew remained at the scene during daylight to eliminate any hot spots that could cause problems.
