Reds boss Derek Townsley has paid tribute to Workington's travelling fans.
Townsley said their support was crucial to the side's success and he hopes that even more fans will be heading to Salford City for the play-off final on Saturday.
"The fans are always vocal when they come to away grounds but they're a cracking bunch and they make themselves heard," said Townsley
"We really do appreciate it and when you look at the Blyth game and the enjoyment they make of that, its superb.
"Saturday is massive and again we will appreciate all the support we can get. And if there are any neutrals then come along and cheer the lads on."
Townsley brought off Anthony Wright in the second half to try and keep him fit for the final.
He said Wright was starting to struggle a little with an ongoing groin problem when he left the field at Blyth but he is very keen to feature.
"We've got plenty of cotton wool for Wrighty to wrap him in," joked Townsley.
"But just like he didn't want to miss Blyth, he won't want to miss on Saturday.
"None of the players want to miss Saturday so let's take it on and have another go.
"We do remember the deflation we all endured last year but it was a very different dressing room this time and let's hope we're all smiling after the game on Saturday."
Townsley will have the players back in training on Thursday as he prepares for the clash that will decide Reds' fate next season.
And Kyle May will hopefully bow out in style in his final game for the club - the Evo Stik premier division play-off final and his 510th appearance for Reds.
