DOUGLAS, Ian Watson - Irene and both families are grateful to all relatives, friends, ex colleagues and neighbours for their beautiful condolence cards, flowers, remembrances and love and support, following Ian's passing. Thanks for donations given so generously in his memory, to the MND Association (currently &pound700). Immense thanks for the wonderful care given by paramedics, staff on A&E and Larch A and B Wards, Cumberland Infirmary, Warwick Square Group Practice, Cumbria Partnership NHS and Newcastle MND Care & Research Centre. Sincere thanks to Celebrant Tracy Ward for her loving kindness, support and beautiful service and Bruce Harris and staff at George Hudson & Sons for the professionalism, courtesy, compassion and care given to all the family and our beloved and cherished Ian on his final journey. Thanks also for the lovely refreshments at The Auctioneer, a place where Ian used to thoroughly enjoy lunch with his colleagues. Please accept our love and heartfelt thanks at this very sad time.
