McINTOSH, Gerald - Barbara and all the family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, love and support after the sad loss of Gerald and also for their generous donations of &pound836, to be divided between St John's Church and the Lymphoma Association. Thanks to members of the church, especially Rev Steve Donald, Paul and John Baxendale and Peter Bye for helping to make the service so meaningful, personal and comforting, it was a fitting tribute to Gerald that so many people attended. Also thanks to staff of the Cumberland Infirmary, in particular Dr Oakes, Consultant Haematologist for his excellent care over the past five years. Finally, thank you to Ken Patton Funeral Director who has been so helpful making all the arrangements efficiently and with care and compassion.
