GSK Zinnat Supply Chain are delighted to be the associate partner of the Pride of Cumbria Awards 2021.
Phil Wilson, GSK site director, and a leading supporter of Pride In Cumbria, especially in ensuring sponsorship for the Young Person of the Year award, said: "This year, like no other, it is important to really appreciate the efforts of people within our community who each and every day go out of their way to help others.
"GSK has been within the South Lakes community for over 70 years and we have had the fortunate opportunity to support events such like the Pride of Cumbria which enable us to give thanks to the fantastic people who go the extra mile in making our lives and the lives of our families and friends easier, better or safer.
"Often these unsung heroes go unnoticed, however the Pride of Cumbria allows us to nominate people and hear about the fantastic work or acts of kindness that are happening each day. A truly wonderful event, that shows peoples willingness and desire to participate in activities that promote a community.
"This year we will virtually come together to recognise the extraordinary achievements within our community, and it makes us very proud to be a part of the event.
"We are also very proud to be sponsoring the Young Person of the Year award and this past year has been like no other for our people under the age of 16, exceptional circumstances create exceptional people and we are excited to hear their stories and say thank you."
