HIT stage show The Lady Boys of Bangkok will return to Cumbria later this year with its 20th anniversary tour.
The all-new performance, Wonder Women, will arrive at Workington's Carnegie Theatre in September - and tickets are on sale now.
The 'Best of' show will feature favourite extracts from the past 20 years, re-imagined by the current crop of performers, with new scenes, spectacular costumes, choreography and comedy.
Wonder Women celebrates in style with appearances including Cher, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Diana Ross, Pink, Shirley Bassey, even Wonder Woman herself, and a cameo from Mary Poppins.
Thailand's exotic performers have been touring the UK every year fsince 1998, with elaborate costumes and extravagant beats.
A show like no other, performed by exotic “show girls”, it’s a night of pure escapism releasing audiences from the humdrum of everyday life in a euphoric bubble of laughter, glamour, glitz and music.
Performed by a cast of authentic Thai lady boys, the show features up to 450 designer, hand-sewn costumes, trademark feathers and immaculate make up.
