HE may be currently deep in the Australian jungle, but funnyman Joel Dommett will be changing scenery next March for a stand-up gig in Carlisle
The actor and comic is currently appearing on the ITV hit show I'm A Celebrity, and has made quite an effect on camp members with his witty humour.
Joel has appeared in the likes of Skins, Live in Chelsea, Impractiacal Jokers UK and other comedy shows.
In 2008, he won Best Newcomer award and was a finalist in Stand Up Comedian of the year. Also in 2008, he appeared in a feature film called The Edge of Love, a Second World War drama.
He has become one of the fastest rising stars on the UK comedy circuit having gained rave reviews for his debut solo Edinburgh show, Neon Hero, in 2011 and second show Nunchuck Silver Medallist 2002 in 2012.
Aside from his comedy shows, Joel is a member of the National Youth Theatre.
Joel will be brushing off those Witchetty Grubs to take centre stage at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle on Thursday March 9
