BAXTER Alice One of Wigton's grand old ladies, Miss Alice Baxter, who was in her 104th year, has passed away peacefully at Inglewood Residential Home, Wigton, on Sunday 9th April 2023. Alice possessed all her faculties practically up to the last, and never wore spectacles. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Jane, dearly loved sister of the late William, John, Clarence, Stanley, Thomas, Albert and Sarah, much loved auntie, great-auntie, great-great auntie and a well respected friend to many. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Parish Church, Wigton on Tuesday 18th April at 1:00pm, followed by interment in Wigton Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.
