THOMPSON Sheena Suddenly but peacefully, and surrounded by her family on Monday 22nd May, Sheena Thompson (Ballantyne) of Rashdall Road Carlisle, aged 79 years. Beloved daughter of the late Bessie and Ted. Dear wife of the late Robert and adored Mam of Fiona and Colin. Devoted Nana to Ryan, Amiee, Jessica, Matt and Dale and cherished Great-Nana to Maiya and Arabella. Much loved mother-in-law, sister, aunt, cousin best friend to Carole and Debbie and treasured friend to many. Funeral service will take place at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday 7th June at 1pm with Sheena's request that something yellow is worn. Family flowers only. Donations if desired can be made in Sheena's memory and will be split between Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice and the Oncology Unit at the Cumberland Infirmary.
