POOLE Stanley "Stan" Peacefully after a short illness, at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle on Sunday 30th July 2023, Stan aged 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Peggy for 72 years, much loved dad, grandad, great grandad, uncle and friend. A funeral service to be held at St Mary's church Wigton on Friday 11th August at 1.00pm followed by interment in Wigton Cemetery. Family flowers only. Proud Boy Entrant and Ex. RAF Carlisle 14MU (26 years), any donations in memory of Stan will be donated to The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA). c/o D Studholme funeral Director Reeds Lane Wigton.
