Barrington Arthur (Barry) CURLE

CURLE Barrington Arthur (Barry) Peacefully at home on Sunday, 3rd September, after a short illness, Barry aged 83 years. Loving husband of Audrey, dearest dad of Deborah and Barry, proud grandad of Amy, Lewis, Elliot, Hannah, Emily, Gabriel and Elijah and great-grandad of Alfie, Jacob, Hallie, Jake and Amelia, a dear brother, father-in-law and friend. Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Cemetery Chapel on Friday 22nd September at 12 noon, followed by a private burial. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Barry to SHELTER and The Salvation Army, Carlisle. All enquiries to Jill Glencross Independent Funeral Directors. Tel: 01228 317373. NOTE: No dress code.

I am very sad to read of the passing of Barry and offer my condolences to you all.
Back in 1952 a small class of us were designated the title of 1b at wigton Secondary Mod.
We had a teacher name of Miss Bell who complied the register, "name please" and went round the lot of us , and your name please ?Barry Curle Miss, But my full name is Barrington Arthur Curle.. By 10 am that day we all knew each other. Barry and I somehow met by chance on many occasion over the years and always were pleased at our meeting.. regards from Tony Britton.
