NOBLE Richard (Nobby) Suddenly at the Cumberland Infirmary on Tuesday 17th October 2023, Richard (Nobby), aged 56 years. Beloved partner of Denise, dearly loved dad of James and a much loved son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 6th November at 1:00pm. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu, if so desired, to be divided between the British Heart Foundation and Spaniel Aid UK. I worked with both Nobby & Denise at the Box during the 90s before moving away in '99.
Only just heard the terrible news. I'm truly devastated for Denise, they were such a laugh at work and never took anything over seriously and very much made for each other.
Although I've not seen them in over 20 years, I've often thought of them, and I always listened out for Nobby Blues comments on BBC radio Cumbria sport.
RIP Nobby. Carlisle has lost a good son....

Sorry to hear about the sad news ,my thoughts are with his family. I was in the same year at school with Richard .he was a good lad ....
