LOMAS Ivan ( 9th Oct 1933 - 18th Feb 2024 ) Ivan Lomas was a proud father and grandfather who passed away peacefully at Chichester Hall Care Home on Sunday 18th February 2024 from cancer and sudden kidney failure. Ivan had celebrated his 90th birthday with family and friends In October 2023 and had thoroughly enjoyed the get together. He lived in Silloth all his life and was a talented rugby player at local and national level in his younger days and then became an active supporter of Christ Church Silloth, the RNLI, the county council and local business. He was well known in the community and will be greatly missed. Ivan's funeral will take place on Friday 1st March at 10.20am at Carlisle Crematorium followed by a celebration of life service at Christ Church Silloth at 2.00pm all are welcome.
