McCABE Derek (former Matron at Blencathra) Peacefully at West Cumberland Hospital on Tuesday 12th March 2024, Derek aged 89 years. Beloved dad of Michael, father-in-law of the late Eileen, treasured grandad of Sean, Mandy and Megan, cherished great-grandad of Maddison and Carys, loving brother of Betty and a dear friend to many. Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday 28th March at 2.20pm. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Derek can be made to the Great North Air Ambulance.
