WHITFIELD George Allan Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, 12th May, Allan of Ivegill, Carlisle, dearly loved husband of Joan, much loved dad of Carolyn, Chris and Nicholas, father-in-law of Julie and Julia, proud granda of Michael, Robert, David, Adam, Beth and Kate and great-granda of Sophia, Ellie and John. Aged 90 years. Service and interment at Christ Church, Ivegill on Wednesday, 22nd May at 1.00 pm. Family flowers only, but if desired, donations in memory of Allan which will be divided between Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland and Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulance may be sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, CA11 8HR.
