METCALFE Enid Petrie (Retired Grocer of the well known shop in Tullie Street) Passed away at Pennine Lodge Nursing Home on Saturday 18th May 2024, in the presence of Julie (Laurence's partner), Enid aged 102 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Stanley Metcalfe (Butcher). A dearly loved mother of Pauline and Laurence, dear mother-in-law of Bernard, loving grandmother to Eleanor, Anais, Lauren and Greg, great-grandmother to Philippe, Zoe, Tamzin, Alister, Callum, Carter and Creed. A special aunt to Kathryn, Joan and Judith.Loved and sadly missed by Julie, Jamie, Lee, Lucy, Franklin and Auralia. Funeral service to be held at St.Aidan's Church, Warwick Road, Carlisle, on Tuesday 4th June at 1.30pm followed by committal at Carlisle Crematorium at 2:20pm. Friends please accept this, the only intimation.
