BOORMAN Patricia 'Pat' Peacefully at home on Tuesday the 4th June 2024, Pat, aged 68 years, beloved wife of the late John, much loved daughter of the late Elsie and Bill, dearly loved sister of the late Derek, treasured auntie of Lucy and Andrew, great-auntie of Hannah, Louise and Shrina, precious partner of Michael. Pat will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Woodland Burial Ground, Carlisle Cemetery on Friday 21st June at 12:30 pm. Family flowers only, with donations in lieu, if so desired to support Eden Valley Hospice. Both Pat and John were dear friends for many years to both Stuart and myself and we shared many happy times together.
After John passed Pat was lonely and going through Covid on her own wasn’t good for such a social person as Pat . After a lot of research and visits she bought her second home in Glenluce where she met Michael.
He brought the person we knew back to her bouncy self again. Michael respected John had played a huge part in Pat’s life as she respected his losses as well. They were a good team Pat taught Michael a lot about birds, flowers and music. He has been an absolute star these last few months caring for Pat’s every need so quietly, lovingly and consistently a big “ thank you” Michael you could not have done any more for Pat she certainly “ picked a good one” those were her words to me a few months ago.
Good bye Pat we will miss you. Xx
