LOWTHER George After a short illness, passed peacefully at the West Cumberland Hospital on Sunday 4th August 2024, George aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Rita, treasured dad of Iain, dear father-in-law of Gillian, loving grandad of Callum and Kirsten, a very dear brother of Anne and Mary also a sadly missed brother-in-law, uncle and popular friend to many. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 19th August at 1:40pm. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu, if so desired, to be divided between the Eden Valley Hospice and MIND.
