THOMSON Eric On 26th August peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary, much loved husband of the late Cath, dearly loved dad of Paul and Lisa, dear father-in-law of Kate and devoted grandad of Lucy and Harry. Funeral service at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 9th September at 11am. One of the most decent and wise Directors I have worked for. Eric recruited me to be his Head of Housing Client Services and his Deputy at Copeland. I learned so much from him and valued his sage advice. My sincere condolences to the family at this difficult time.
