KIRBY Ruth Margaret Suddenly at the Cumberland Infirmary, after a short illness on Thursday 5th September 2024, Ruth aged 82 years. Beloved wife of Ted, loving mum of Tim and the late Sally, proud and devoted grandma of Zac and a dear sister of John and his wife Barbara. Ruth will be greatly missed by all who know her. Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday 23rd September at 1pm. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Ruth to JIGSAW. Paul and I count ourselves fortunate to have been able to see Aunt Ruth the week she passed away, never dreaming that she would do so. Although we are across the big pond, our hearts are with Uncle Ted, Tim and Zach. Aunt Ruth was an amazing lady and seems to have touched all that knew her. May we all be like Ruth.
