Two white German shepherd dogs fell 30ft off a Lake District crag.
The two dogs had fallen on Castle Crag, above the Allerdale Ramble path, at about 1am yesterday (MON).
Lexi made her own way down to the path despite her injuries, but Shyler was stretchered down to meet Lexi, before they were both then stretchered down to the end of the road to meet their owners.
Shyler suffered a suspected broken leg and both were taken to the vets by their owners.
Keswick Mountain Rescue rushed to rescue the dogs and upon arrival, Shyler was strapped into a 'nest' of a vacuum mat and casualty bag.
The team also used a back rope to help them descend down to the path.
