Firefighters were called to tackle a tractor on fire in Cardurnock in Bowness-on-Solway earlier today.
At 5.30pm a crew from Carlisle's west station were called to the tractor, however the cause of the fire is unknown.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said: "One tractor was well alight on arrival and we used one hose and one firefighter in breathing apparatus."
The crew were at the scene for 50 minutes.
