A weather warning for Storm Diana's arrival in Cumbria has been extended.
The Met Office issued a yellow warning for wind for Carlisle and the western half of Cumbria for today. Originally it was in force between 9am and 9pm, however, it has been extended and will now last until midnight.
The warning alerts people to the chance of 70mph winds in exposed areas while gusts of 60mph are more widely expected.
The strong winds will also bring some rough seas and large waves, with some coastal impacts possible.
