A CARLISLE man has been sent to prison for 140 days for breaching a suspended sentence order one day after it was issued.
Andrew Bell, 42, of Shaddongate, appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court on Thursday (February 21).
He landed himself a suspended sentence order on February 19, after he had entered West Tower Street - a road which he was banned from entering - on February 18.
On February 20 he entered Carlisle city centre, which was in breach of a criminal behaviour order made in June 2017. An offence he admitted in court.
Bell was sentence to 60 days in prison and will also consecutively serve the 80 days suspended sentence given to him by the previous suspended sentence order.
He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £115 to fund victim services.
