KIND-HEARTED football fans raised £300 for first responders in Cumbria.
The fundraiser at last week's Workington Reds match also aimed at raising awareness of the work first responders do in the area.
Councillor Neil Schofield, deputy mayor of Allerdale, was among those who took part in the fundraising efforts.
He said: "The Reds were fantastic and Mike Rollo (director) couldn't have been any more supportive. It also helped to raise awareness of what these exceptional people do within our community."
First responders are trained volunteers called by the ambulance service to potential life threatening 999 incidents.
Chris Abbot,Workington First Responders lead, said: "We have to raise money for most of our equipment including defibrillators, jackets and equipment bags so the contributions we receive is very much valued and helps us all."
