Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were called to the aid of two dog walkers who had become trapped in the heart of the Lake District.
Eight members of the team were scrambled on Saturday after two dog walkers on a stroll round Wastwater had become, according to a team spokesman, "stuck in the boulder field on the Wasdale Screes".
"A team member on foot located them and then they were helped back to the pump house in the team boat," the spokesman added.
Saturday's callout was the 74th time the team has been scrambled so far this year.
