Copeland’s residents will receive their polling cards this week ahead of next month’s general election.
Residents will go to the polls on Thursday, December 12 to vote for Copeland’s new MP.
Nominations are now open and the deadline for candidates’ completed forms is 4pm on Thursday, November 14.
To register to vote, visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote before November 26.
To register for a proxy or postal vote, contact Copeland Council’s Elections team on 01946 598535, email elections@copeland.gov.uk or download a form from www.yourvotematters.co.uk.
The deadlines are 5pm on November 26 (postal votes) and 5pm on December 4 (proxy votes).
