A LAKES holiday park is celebrating after several wins at prestigious travel awards ceremony.

Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat, based near Bewaldeth, picked up two prizes at the 2019 Hoseasons Best in Britain awards in Brighton on Wednesday.

The resort, which opened in 2016 and is run by Darwin Escapes, has had a string of success in previous years - picking up the Best Large Park in Britain for two years running in 2017 and 2018 at the annual presentation.

This year, the retreat took home the Best Food and Beverage in the North of England (Large Location), plus the the Customer Choice Food Award.

Lindsey Esse, managing director of Darwin Escapes, said: “These awards are testament to the hard work put into all of our resorts from our dedicated team to ensure each holiday destination, from the grounds to the lodges and the customer experience, are at a very high standard for our guests all year round.
