THIEVES have stolen hundreds of pounds worth of designer clothes overnight from a Carlisle department store.
The burglars broke into the shop on English Street in the city centre, before taking a large quantity of high value CP Company clothing.
Officers were alerted to the burglary at the House of Fraser store at 1.05am on Tuesday.
Detective Constable Michael Gilsenan said: “We are appealing for anyone who has any information about this burglary to contact us.
“In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who has been offered CP Company clothing for sale.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who was in the city centre or around the store at this time and who saw anything suspicious."
Anyone with information can contact police on 101, referring to incident 12 of December 10.
