Police have released details of racist abuse hurled at a Morrisons store worker in Carlisle.
Cumbria Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking for in connection with the incident, which took place on October 27 at the Kingstown branch of Morrisons, Carlisle.
A police spokesman described the incident, which happened at about 11.30am: "A verbal altercation took place between a man working at the store and another unknown man who is described as in his mid-40s. white, 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, wearing white glasses, a woolly bobble hat, green waist length jacket, grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.
"The unknown man is reported to have racially abused the store worker whilst getting into a small white Skoda that was waiting outside the front of the store, near to the main exit.
"Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone who recognises the man, to call PC 2781 on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 106 of October 27."
