SUPERMARKET chain Morrisons have unveiled plans to launch a new click and collect service at their Carlisle store.
The grocers have submitted proposals to Carlisle City Council to build a new canopy in the service area at the back of the shop, based by Kingstown Road.
A statement from Morrisons in the application form said: "The proposal involves constructing a sheltered canopy for the loading of home shopping vans within the store's service area and a sheltered walkway canopy which would extend back to to the store's back of house.
"A new car park canopy is proposed for a new Click and Collect service."
If approved, the service is set to launch in the coming months.
