A west Cumbrian village hall will host an expert on birds for an illuminating talk about globe-trotting swifts, swallows and martins.
Award-winning ornithologist and author John Callion will be holding a talk at Mawbray village hall, near Maryport, next Friday evening.
Starting at 7.30pm, the event will include a South African-themed supper, as well as a glass of South African wine.
