Battled Blaze: Firefighters fought flames after fire was started in green bin.
POLICE are on the look-out for yobs after a firefighters battled to put out a green plastic bin blaze.
Officers found the fire raging in the woods behind Academy Place, Langholm
The incident happened between 7pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday March 4, Scottish Fire and Rescue also responded to the call.
A spokesman for Dumfries & Galloway Police Division said: "Concerns were raised to Police by members of the public who had overheard youths near to the area talking about starting fires.
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of the fire to contact Police Scotland on 101 and quoting Ref 3277 of March 4.
