WASDALE Mountain Rescue Team was called out to three separate emergencies in the space of six hours.
The 16-strong team - helped by colleagues from Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team - had their first call out on Wednesday shortly before 1pm when a walker got lost.
The second incident involved a walker who suffered an ankle injury while descending the Scafell Pike summit path. The third rescue involved a search for another walker who had got lost because of bad weather and poor visibility.
The final call-out came at 5.21pm.
