Alfie Boe will be among the star-studded line-up performing songs for a toddler who requires life-saving treatment.
Carlisle has come together as a community to help fund the treatment of two-year-old Stan Dalton who is battling cancel for the third time.
Now, in an effort to hit the £500,000 target, entertainers have joined forces and organised a virtual concert for the youngster, to take place tomorrow evening from 7.30pm.
Glenn Anderson, one of the organisers, said: “We are thrilled with the support from the music industry and are delighted to have confirmation from Alfie Boe and Andrew Robley who will be performing too.
“This news is absolutely amazing, it will be a fantastic show.
“The concert will be a chance for people to enjoy live stream performances, but also to raise awareness that our music industry has truly suffered during Covid-19, and we are here and can’t wait to perform again.”
There will also be a showcase of local artists including Lisa Glendinning, Jemma Bell, Miss Pearl, High Dynamics, Mandi Leonard, Courtney O’Neil, Sh boom, Liam Moorhouse and Stevie D.
There will also be messages of support from a number of different artists including Britain’s Got Talent act Stavros Flatly.
Other acts include Jenny Ball, Sarah O’Connor, Lizzie Bea, Blake Patrick Moore, Christopher Maloney, John Robyns and Collabro.
