A CARLISLE man has been fined and given a community order for a series of assaults and possession of drugs.
Bradley John Hickman, 36, appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court on Friday.
He admitted being in possession of amphetamine in Carlisle on December 16 last year.
Hickman, of Stonegarth in the Morton area of the city, was fined £50.
The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
In a separate incident, on August 27, he also assaulted two women and a man in Penrith.
He was given a 12-month community order by the court after he admitted the three assaults. The order requires him to complete 120 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay £100 each in compensation to two of the victims.
Hickman was also told to pay £85 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge
