Two Cumbrian mountain rescue teams came to the aid of a lady who was experiencing a medical episode while out walking.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were alerted by police on Monday afternoon to a lady suffering with a Meniere's Disease episode in the Middle Fell area.
Fifteen members of the Wasdale team responded, and called for the assistance of a further eight members of the Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team.
The teams stretchered the lady down the steep terrain, before reaching the roadside.
The teams were in action for about four and a half hours.
