Plans for one of Carlisle’s historic properties have been lodged.
Carlisle City Council has received updated proposals to vary previously approved conditions to turn a former police station on Abbey Street into a home.
Plans had previously been given planning permission in 2015.
According to the heritage statement, at the time: “The property was purchased in 1905 by the Cumberland and Westmorland Constabulary to serve the the Abbey Street lock-up and superintendent’s house.”
In 1965 it was used as offices for the Probation Service.
