A mountain rescue team is asking the public to seek the support they need on World Mental Health Day 2020.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team is reminding the public to talk about their mental health and wellbeing, particularly during the current health crisis.
In a post to social media, a spokesperson for Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team said: "As individuals we love getting out on the hills and the physical and mental health benefits it brings."
The rescue team is leading by example.
"As a rescue team we also know that difficult rescues can have adverse affects on us, we look out for each other and have more formal help available to us should we need it."
The team aim to help the people they rescue with the stress and trauma of the incident at the time and urge them to seek further help if necessary.
The spokesperson said: "Those we rescue are in our thoughts for a long time.
"Your mental wellbeing is important and you can take little steps every day to improve it. "Never be too afraid to ask for help."
